i dont know what type of car to get for my first car. im definatly buying a used car. my limit for spending is around 4,000-5,000. i like the honda cr-v or ford escape. also the nissan pathfinder is cute but its too expensive. any other suggestions on a car?
Honda’s are great used cars, they last forever!! They can get up to really high mileage and still run great, Honda Civic is what was my sister’s first car at 17. She is now 27 and selling it to my younger sister!

Honda Civic would be my choice, but since u like the CR-V, go with either.

If you can find a CRV, Civic or corolla for 5 grand, go for it. The Escape isn’t bad but the CRV is a better made vehicle. Pathfinder is a whole different class of car though.

It should be 4-door, 4-cyls, not sporty. I would prefer Honda or Toyota… First time drivers usually have much more expensive car insurance, and it depends from car. You should compare insurance rates while choosing the car – for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net
