my 93 Pathfinder wont drive when i shift it into drive. It just stays there and when i step on the gas it just revs the engine. However when the car is more warmed up it goes. What is causing this problem? I never used to have this problem before!
Your transmission forward clutches have worn out sorry to say. 15 years is about all it will get. Always replace the Radiator. The oil cooler inside the Radiator is a fin type and you cannot wash out the debris and pieces of metal from the failed trans will ruin your new gear box. An external oil cooler can be used if you recently replaced the Radiator but do not reuse the oil cooler in the Radiator. Your in for some real expense but replace that Pathfinder would cost much more. I recommend a complete transmission from Nissan.

Check your transmission fluid level. With the engine running and the shifter in park, on level ground, check the level and correct it. If the level is low, find the leak. If the level is correct and the fluid is clean pink to red, then you may have an internal leak.
Best bet is to let a transmission shop have a look.
