i want help because my dad has a used pathfinder from 1996 and i accidentally set off the damaged alarm?

an he had to disconnect something to make the car work and because he had to do it to make the car work and know the trunk do-sent open what can i do

Ricky, I doubt if the two things are connected, unless the fuse blew on the power trunk.

Check that.
