I purchased a secondhand Pathfinder (1998, petrol, auto) a months ago, and its consuming too much fuel.?

the fuel consumption of this secondhand Pathfinder (1998, petrol, auto) is of more than that of my Nissan Terrano (1986,petrol, manual, carburetor) that I was using before. my local mechanic has changed the engine oil, fuel filter, oil filter, plugs, but there is no improvement in the fuel consumption. Can anyone advise me on other areas that my local mechanic can crosscheck and rectify to reduce the fuel consumption?

u dont say what too much is..if your getting 13/14 in town and 20 on hyway its good

u dont say what too much is..if your getting 13/14 in town and 20 on hyway its good
