I want to take the running boards off my Pathfinder since they’ve rusted through and I like the look without them. There are 6 or 8 screws visible from the top of the running board and brackets underneath but I can’t figure out where to start. Help?
You will need to unbolt the brackets from your frame underneath your vehicle. You dont need to remove the running boards from the brackets. Once you do this, the running boards will come off. If my memory serves me correct, there should be 6-8 bolts holding on the brackets. This shouldnt take you too long providing the bolts are seized. Make sure you have a can of WD40 (or your lubricant of choice) handy. Soak the bolts for a few minutes prior to remove. This should help prevent seizing. Hope this helps ya out.
