how do you take a nissian pathfinder tranmission out4x4?

i got all the blots out but i can not figure how to drop it any help

i’m assuming that you have all the bell housing bolts out double check one might be hiding and if automatic then are all the torque converter bolts out if not will prevent it from coming all the way back if you’re sure that you have everything possible that holds it to the block then also common problem is that its stuck to the back of the block and will need some good old fashioned muscle to free it get a large pry bar and without trying to get near the fly wheel stick it between the case and block and move the bar back and forth several times JUST MAKE SURE THE TRUCK IS ON THE LIFT/JACK SECURELY before doing this please

Please include the year model and motor size and how many miles with your question..Some late model 2000 to 2003 4×4 Pathfinders have a throw out bearing that pulls the pressure plate. You always replace that throw out bearing to get a new snap ring. To release the snap ring use a 2 foot long skinny screwdriver and push a collar toward the pressure plate looks like a sheet metal thin ring from the side and that allows the throw out bearing to release. Also note earlier 1986 to 1990′s pathfinders have the bell housing sealed and stuck with silicone sealant.
Nissan technician has a special transmission jack adapter for both manual and automatic to remove the gear box because of how it has to be moved to get the trans out and how long the trans is with transfer case. If your removing a automatic once the drive shafts are removed remove the bolts and take out the transfer case separately then remove the automatic trans.
