91 nissian pathfinder starting problem?

intermitin stating problem, more like will start when the planets are aligned perfectly. netrual safety switch not the problem can hear the relay when i move shifter(auto) hear relay under dash when i try an crank it, guessin im gettin power to engine compartment, not sure if there is a relay under the hood that would have gone bad. cant get to starter to check silenoid if getting power from the switch. ‘
any ideas or similiar problem

easy to change and most times the ingnition electrical portion (starter switch) can cause intermittent no start. Also on some old pathfinders the factory alarm system relay under the seat can be the problem. Another hair puller is voltage drops along the circuit and your going to have to get to the right side of the motor to the gray solonid plug and volt meter the starter wire to be sure. And if you have a 4×4 that starter is difficult to replace when all else fails you may end up there taking the steering idler arm off and getting really greasy (those darn valve cover leaks) should of fixed years ago.
