No gas.

Take it back to the place that installed it and make them recheck it, might be faulty.

Maybe they forgot to add Freon (AC Gas used to make it cold). Or they forgot to put back a valve so you have a big leak.
but before you worry about taking it back… did you make sure the AC is turned to ON? Most Japanese cars have a AC switch usually next to the Fan Control. It should be on the ON position and usually has a light on it that should be ON. If you turn it off, then the AC Compressor is off and you get no cold air, just plain air that will be warm. It sounds to me that the problem is there.
Another probablility is that they forgot to plug back the power cable to the Compressor, so it doesn’t get the signal to go ON.

You have to check if it’s oiled and if it has gas in it. Since the compressor is new I doubt their are any leaks in it. But if the compressor is not properly lubricated it will leak out all the gas and blow out warm air.
