My 1997 Nissan Pathfinder just got 4 new Yokohama tires.?
But I had to get the truck aligned at a different location. Midas aligned the truck for 69.99. Well, at 65mph- and up the steering wheel shakes just a little and the truck pulls to the side a bit. This was happening before with the old set of tires. Could it be that Midas just took my money and f#@!*&* me over or do most Pathfinders ride a bit rough on the freeway? The shocks are newer as are the tie rods. Any suggestions? The tires are Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G051
P235/75R-15 108S XL. I want some expert opinions before I go back to Midas and be an as*hole to the guys there.
Discount tires mounted and balanced the tires.
you might have two problems.
wheel shaking at certain speed is wheel balancing is off.
for pulling to side is alignment being off. Find a flat road and go about 20-30mph and let go of steering wheel and see if it goes straight. The road in my area are slight curve to right for water drain so make sure your road is flat. if you think is still mess up ask to take service adviser for 5mins test ride and show him your problem.
dont forget to check tire pressure.

you could have a worn control arm on the passenger side you need someone to wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while not running and look for linkages that are loose. It is the most overlooked problem on pathfinders and Toyota’s that I have seen. the First person was right too.
