It could be as simple as you didn't tighten the gas cap enough. "Check engine" DOES NOT necessarily mean you need a tune up. It might, but it might not. Oil change, coolant change and don't forget if your truck has over 120,000 miles also to replace the water pump and fan belt too and any other necessary parts while the front of the motor is taken apart. so 1,000 labor to 1,200 labor the Technician gets 200 to 260 dollars. Parts can run about 250 to 350 dollars. I give the truck a really good look over and review any other missed items like incabin air filter and engine air filter too.
