I have NO experience with DnD whatsoever. I always wanted to get into role playing games, and it seemed to me that pathfinder was the right choice. Do I need to know anything about DnD, or do I just purchase the core rule book and I’ll be set?

All you need to play DnD is the three core books: Dungeon Master’s Guide, Player’s Handbook, and Monster Manual. There are tons of other books and tons of versions of these books, but all you need is those three and you will be set to go. Everything else is just additional content to enhance your game (think Downloadable Content on a console game)

Pathfinder Dungeon Master’s Guide:

Once you have all of that, http://www.help-my-rpg.com/ is a great site to find some good information on the hobby of role-playing games, especially if you’re just getting started.

My mother’s pathfinder is rotting like crazy. It is 12 years old, she has gotten 160k miles out of it, I am sure she can get another 100k. She loves the car. She doesn’t want to get a new one. She has it paid off and loves not having a car payment.

I don’t know what to get her for Christmas, so I figured I was just going to fix her car up. About how much would it be to replace all the siding?

More like 14years old 2012 models at dealerships now. The rust you see is only the beginning bolts and nuts under the truck and on the exhaust will break off if turned. Suspension parts steering pieces all will have heavy rust too. Unitized body on that year model pathfinder will make replacing body panels more costly. Rear quarter panels rear fender arches are welded to the bodywork. I know people like no car payments but it is time for a new truck when you can see holes in the rear fenders and safety items like brake hoses start rusting out.

I have a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder SE. 3.0 4×4 automatic. It will idle fine but once I start driving it for about 10 minutes I smell a sulphuric smell and it starts stuttering horribly and just dies. After it cools off it’ll fire back up and do the same thing.

The sulfur smell is from the catalytic converter going out. The converter is clogged and when it heats up it closes off what little air flow there is, causing a restriction in the exhaust. That restriction is what causes the engine to die. With no flow through the exhaust the engine can’t get rid of the burned mixture in the cylinders, so it literally chokes to death. When it cools it opens up enough to drive a little further before it shuts off again. Have the catalytic converter replaced and it should run fine. You might also do a tune-up while you’re at it. The biggest cause of catalytic converter failure (besides age and miles) is a poorly running engine. Keep the engine running right and get the converter replaced; should be fine after that.

Edit: Oh, and don’t drive it much more with the clogged converter. The exhaust is one way the engine gets rid of heat, so clogging the exhaust will also cause heat to build up in the engine and cause major damage.

Ive searched around a bit, but to no avail. It could be some sort of mess up in the program, or it could be that people didn’t want it mentioned, due to embarrassment. But these are all COULD BEs.

Or it could be a conspiracy having to do with the movie, transformers.

DUDE!!! nooooo way!!!! engines are extreamly expensive they cost like 6,000 brand new or like 4,500-5,500 used totally not worth it plus you would have to hire a mechanic that would charge you insanely to install it either buy a new car which seems the smarter idea or keep with way ya got until you can buy a newer car

=== you will have to pull the panel off the door === if you can afford a few bucks for a local glass replacement co. to help you it will be best === the panel has been in place for almost 5 years and sometimes when removing that panel you can break a ""plastic nail"" that holds the panel in place. GO to the local auto supply and buy a new cig liter holder ((( the best one you can find )) and be ready to get that new part removed and replaced (R&R) ….. the glass co. has new "p nails" and silicone to replace the panel with no rattles … if you do this yoself you will have to pry the panel off the door and go slow so you do not break any thing ….. two ways to fix …

That sounds like a VG30. But you can check by looking for the engine number, it will start with vg30 if it is, this is on the rear of the engine block on the right side.

I lost my keys and I need to start my ’95 pathfinder. What con I do without the key to get it started.

Answer:

1.* Locate the screws that are holding the plastic trim in place on your steering column.
2.* Unscrew these screws and remove the plastic trim pieces by simply lifting them off. You have now exposed the ignition switch.
3.* Remove the bolts or screws that are mounting the ignition switch to the steering column. This will unlock the steering wheel.
4.* Remove the screws that are holding the electrical part (the part with the wires) and the mechanical part of the ignition switch together.
5.* Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the key hole and turn in the same direction as you would your key. This will start your car.

If you are using how wire …. go here…directions step by step.

http://www.wikihow.com/Hotwire-a-Car

PS. Go to youtube and try searching " starting a car without keys’ or " how to how wire a car ", this should give you a lot of videos on how to do it.

Hope it helps.

I am installing an aftermarket amplifier to my pathfinder and I am wondering what Color of wire is the car amplifier trigger wire so I can splice and connect my remote wire for my aftermarket amplifier. Very lost and could use some help. Also if you know how to connect RCA output converters to the bose head unit and could explain that as well it would be much appreciated:)

Light green/red is POSSIBLY it but you MUST test it first. Honestly, you should probably pay a shop to do it for you if dont know how to check the wiring or hook up an RCA output converter. That said, you can find the rear speaker connections, directly at the speaker if the Bose amp is mounted on the speaker(rare), and splice/tap (dont completely cut) them to the RCA conv. may need to extend wires from one side of the car to the other. Really think about paying a shop.

I have all gears working on my automatic transmissioned pathfinder except reverse… it sounds like it wants to engage, but doesn’t. All forward gears work.
Oil level is normal and there is no burnt smell or metal debris in the oil.
Someone mentioned the oil filter may be clogged, but I cannot find it on my truck. Is it inside the transmission itself?
Is the reverse gear the first thing to go when the filter clogs, or am i looking at a potentially bigger problem?

Your filter is in the bottom of the transmission, which requires removing the pan.
I can assure you the filter is not causing your problem. all the fluid goes threw the same filter.
If the filter was clogged, you would not have forward either. To add to a clogged filter debate, a clogged filter would only happen if the transmission is coming apart. There is no magic can of fix it either. I don’t want to sound condescending I am just stating the facts. I have tons of customers who come in after throwing away perfectly good money on a bad transmission. I would suggest you have you vehicle checked by a transmission expert. We have locations across the nation. Look for a Certified Transmission near you or a ATRA approved facility.
