So I’m 19, I Love trucks, Pick-ups and Suv’s, I had a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder that i absolutely loved, till it turned out to be a piece of crap, but I’m looking for a "truck" that’ll suite the life of a Teenager, I hear good things about Durango’s and Jeep Cherokee’s (Not grand Cherokee), But also i Love Dodge Ram’s quad Cabs or Chevy Avalanche, so help me out here, i need lists of good trucks like Durango’s and Pick up trucks that are Quad Cab all with 4WD and plenty of Power, so i can screw around off road a bit and power through snow but also have something that can carry friends and have awesome features, something that can have high mileage but have good reviews no matter the mileage, gas isn’t an issue for me so yea, hoping to spend only about $800-3500 but i can do a down payment if needed, Little help please??

Dude, your budget is really low. Just find a truck regardless of make/model.

I currently drive an 06 Jeep Liberty. Looking to upgrade to a different SUV. I want a Toyota 4Runner (05 or newer) or a Nissan Pathfinder, but both are relatively expensive, even used.

Because of my age and credit, Im limiting myself to a loan of 15,000-16,000 and the rest will be my downpayment in cash. However, because of my area, I’m seeing a lot of our 4Runners reselling in the 20-25k range, depending on miles and such.

I am hoping to broaden my searching- I have read and heard amazing reviews on both the 4runner and the pathfinder. I am partial to buying an imported car since my American-made Jeep has done nothing but disappoint..

Is there a list or a website where I can see the highest consumer rated SUVs on the market? I know that everyone has a different opinion on makes and models, so I’d like to find a website that includes many reviews, not just a few.

As far as a good website I’d suggest Consumer Reports. An online subscription costs $7 a month $29 a year, but you can read all of their reviews for free at your local library.

As far as which SUVs you should be looking at check out the Kias and Hyundais. For the last few years they have been making some of the best cars on the road but because of their bad reputation of several years ago the still sell for less than the Toyota and Nissans.

Is it a good amp? Maybe give me a mini-review? I’m looking to use it for an acoustic-electric guitar. Thanks guys!

for it’s price range it’s definitely one of the best. I seen a comparison on youtube between the pathfinder and the vox ac30 (which cost like £800), and the pathfinder was extremely close to it in sound quality. Solid state amps (pathfinder) do lack a bit of touch sensitivity and dynamics in comparison to tube amps (ac30), but as far as solid state amps go, it’s one of the best.

Though I’ve never used mine with an electro acoustic so I’m not so sure how good it would be for that. You may be better getting an amp dedicated for acoustic. Something like an ibanez t-10, or a laney la12-c, they should be in your price range I believe.

Good luck finding an amp you love, and have fun rocking out

How does it perform for city/highway/trail ?
Do you think it is worth $40k for the 4WD V6 LE model ?
One question I forgot to ask is whether the rear seats can be fully folded so as to allow sleeping in it ?

I drive an 08 S 4WD. Paid 20K. Bought it used a year and a half ago. To me $40K for a V6 model is a bit pricey even if brand new.

ive been looking around and trying to find a great watch. Ive found a couple that look great but just not sure. The best one ive found so far was a Casio Pathfinder PAW1300T-7V. Anybody have any suggestions? Price not an issue.

If price isn’t an issue (and it always is) go with a name brand like Rolex, Tag Heur, Breitling or many other watches that will not depreciate too much in value.
I have a 500 watch collection with all of the above brands and many cheaper watches. Strangely enough the ones I favor are the Citizen Eco Drive watches for price and build quality. They have some excellent "complications" too. I would avoid Invicta- I have 32 and they are OK when they work but if you need them fixed you’ll wait 4-6 months for Invicta to return it to you.
Croton also makes good inexpensive watches with some nice features and interesting styles.
Whatever you do don’t buy from a jewelry store. Shop online-eBay is good if you review the seller’s rating and have a return privilege.
There are many watch review sites you can find though a Google search once you narrow your choices down.
Email me if you have a specific question about a watch-I may be able to help. I also have a Rolex 18K gold President, day/date quickset I would be interested in selling and it’s like new. Just serviced by Roles (routine 5 year service-no damage).
I forgot to mention Stuhrling watches. They have some great styles, including many unique "retro pieces, and usually sell for under $500.
Check out watchgeeks.net for what collectors are saying about many watch styles.

So my parents are in the market for a minivan.
We’re just looking for something cheap that gets us around since it will only be me, my sister, and my parents, on the car, we put a lot of stuff on it (like also going camping), therefore reason for getting the van.

The choices we have picked out so far is:

2001 Nissan Quest Top of the line, w/leather, sunroof, etc. 145km at $5500
2002 Honda Odyssey LX, the bottom line, 160km at $5900
2002 Mazda MPV LX, middle line, 166km at $4900

And also out of nowhere, we also have one last choice is:

2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette GL, middle line, 165km at $3500

We didn’t bother to pick Dodge, or Ford, or Toyota, because of the design, the common problems, and the prices.
Like these are the common problems we avoided:
Dodge & Ford – Transmission
Toyota – High pricing
No company is perfect, so this is what we think
Nissan – Electrical
Honda – Airbags, struts, transmission
GM – Headgasket
Mazda – Rods, underpowered, transmission

One last thing, we’re planning to trade in our 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, top of the line, 255km, how much can we look to get for it?

you realize that Oldsmobile is GM, right? But even so, GM makes a good product. If you’re absolutely stuck on the choices you picked though, I would go with the Nissan. It seems like the best deal to me, and they’re good vehicles.

Hello,
I’ve been looking for a decent way of transportation for a while now…
I admit I’m very bad in taking decisions…
This would be my first car ever.
And needless to say am worried about my way of driving/handling big cars… though at the same time i hate/dont seem to go along with small cars.
What I want is simple:
1.A car with clear edges (so to speak) for easy driving as I’m not an expert driver yet so parking, tight turns and what not is a bit tricky to me without actually seeing my angles.
2.ESC support as I’m worried about those rough turns where I’m surely going to be speeding on.
3.Automatic transmission as I’m not that good with anything else yet.
4.Good amount of power as I’m a speed freak (though I admit it’s a bit weird to ask given the previous request so please do bare with me)
5.Hate feminine looking cars! I don’t mean to be annoying but I do have a definition for cars that are simply feminine! For example Nissan tida, Toyota echo, Mercedes c230 compressor and so on. Though I do like ford mustang, Audi a4, Subaru impreza wrx, jeep liberty, pathfinder, Toyota fj cruiser…
6.Lately imp stuck on 4 cars. Jeep liberty, Audi a4, Subaru impresa, ford mustang. I’ll explain what I have about each so maybe u can get what im looking for..
a.Jeep liberty: I realy like this jeep, I read lots of reviews about it.. and it looks nice as it’s a good amount of poewr yet small enough (not like trailblazer or envoy or any of that sort) though my problem with this one is that it does almost 100km/20 L and that’s a bit annoying!
b.Subaru impreza, it’s a very nice car I like it.. though it’s looks is a bit outdated (I believe so at least) and its really small inside (am a bit over weighted tall guy)
c.Audi a4, this car is amazing it looks sport chic and all.. though a lot of ppl warned me of it’s transmission and its very expensive parts.
7.I give a lot of importance to the interior of the car especially its options like radio cd.. steering wheel built-in control buttons and so on…

So that’s about it.. what can you advise me with ? I’m really thankful for whoever reaching this part of my message as I know I’ve requested the impossible maybe and being a bit picky… though am really desperate about all of this so I welcome any help I could get

You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net
