I think you’re analyzing the "check engine" light too much. It could be as simple as you didn’t tighten the gas cap enough. "Check engine" DOES NOT necessarily mean you need a tune up. It might, but it might not.

Just take it to a dealership and ask them…or any mechanic.

I was able to take off the piece around the power window button and got all the clips off in the door except for the top corner near the door handle. So everything was off I could see the speaker and the inside of the panel but I couldn’t get the panel completely off because something in the top left corner is holding it on. Do I have to remove the handle to take the panel off? How can I completely remove the panel so I can get to the speaker?

you have to take off the soft armrest part by pulling up on it to expose two screws that need to be removed.

there is also a screw behind door open handle, and you have to carefully pry out the two small pieces of plastic to get to it.

be careful, the colder plastic is the more easily it will crack

Winiing noise buzzing noise? caused by worn chain guides tension devices and secondary timing chains are warrantied for 6 year 60 thousand miles. Hope your truck has extended warranty… A nissan technician can replace the noisy parts for about 10/12 hours non warranty labor. Oil change, coolant change and don’t forget if your truck has over 120,000 miles also to replace the water pump and fan belt too and any other necessary parts while the front of the motor is taken apart. so 1,000 labor to 1,200 labor the Technician gets 200 to 260 dollars. Parts can run about 250 to 350 dollars. I give the truck a really good look over and review any other missed items like incabin air filter and engine air filter too. Good Luck

Either three hands or a special T shaped tool that depresses the two small square holes that releases the inside part that holds the door flap and metal power-socket part in. The old socket pulls out and unplug, plug in the new socket or Cigarette lighter push over the door and insert into the dash hole. Good Luck

My a/c has been flickering in and out and I’ve been told the relay needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if this is located under the hood, part number and how easy it is to replace? Thanks!
It is manual w/o navi. The display flickers on and off when it’s on 1 and 4 and doesn’t work at all on settings 2 and 3. Thanks for your help!

Auto climate control or manual does your Pathfinder have Navigation screen? Is it the display flickering or does the entire system shut off? A/C is powered up with the non replaceable A/C relay on the Intelligent power distribution module IPDM is under the hood passengers side rear corner with a square cover. bower motor has a relay too. With a little luck you may be able to demonstrate the condition for a Nissan Technician and you have extended warranty that will cover the repair.
