We need something with enough cargo pace…..would accept a 2005 Pathfinder or 2006 Murano as an answer 2
You should take him to the Toyota dealership, and get him the car that HE PAYS FOR BY HIMSELF.
Don’t buy your kid a vehicle.
Ever.

Any of those are a bit too nice for a 17 year old, I don’t care if you have more money than the Olsen twins, but if you accept the great possibilty of the car being wrecked and then easily replaced, then it is at you descretion to buy which ever you want, I would personally start them out with an older vehicle, but if I had to choose, I go with the RAV4.

I think that the 2007 Toyota Camry would be great for a 17 year old.

From the list you gave I would choose the rav4. If you need cargo space the camry might be a little small. If the camry has sufficient cargo space I would buy it as there is a reason it has been the best selling car for almost a decade.
Other cars to consider are the Honda CRV and Accord. Both these cars are more fun to drive than the toyotas and are extremele safe, reliable, and fuel efficient.

I’m a 17 year old car enthusiast, and if I were in this position, I would prefer/recommend those cars in this order:
1. Nissan Murano
2. Lexus RX
3. Nissan Pathfinder
4. Toyota RAV4
5. Toyota Camry
The cars you are looking at are all very similar, as they all have solid reliability and safety, so I would choose the car entirely on how it appeals to your son/daughter.
One of my mates’ family recently purchased the Nissan Murano, and they really like it. It’s a good, nice car. The RX is in a slightly higher class then the rest, so if it is similarly priced, go for that as you’ll get the best car by far. The RAV4 isn’t particularly great, in my opinion. My family had one ages ago, and when we went to replace it, we didn’t get another newer one because the new ones are nothing like what they once were. As for the Camry, I really dislike them, but if your son/daughter feels otherwise, then it might be a good choice.
