how is the new nissan 2006 (3) seater pathfinder car. Thanks?
Okay my immediate family has recently grown and I have been looking for something with a 3rd row of seats so all can sit in comfort. A Mini-van is not an option, nor is a stationwagon or anything similar. I currently have an Xterra and am a big fan of Nissan. I plan on leasing and therefor my limit for a vehicle is around 30-34 thousand. I’ve test driven the 06 Pathfinder SE, the Dodge Durango SLT, and the Jeep Commander Limited. The third row of seats in the Nissan and Durango are comfortable for young children but not for adults. The Commander was very comfortable no matter where you sat. I had the Nissan for a weekend and besides the small amount of room in the third row it was total Nissan quality. Very comfortable and quiet, excellent ride, and very "professional" feeling. If not needing a third row was an option I would purchase the Nissan. If teens or adults won’t be riding long periods in the 3rd row or you need the extra room for small children or you just plan on using the third row "sometimes" then I loved the Nissan… but for me, I need a roomy 3rd row for a couple more years until my teens are moved away and even though sometimes they do deserve to be "squished" in the back – I kept thinking about the fights it would cause over not being in the back so I am not opting for the Pathfinder.
