As an owner of an 08 V6 4×4 S model, I will say you won’t have a problem. However, if the trailer is a 7pin connector with electric brakes, some modifications are needed to connect the trailer to the Pathy correctly. They come stock with only a 4pin connector.

It should do fine, although you will see a large drop in fuel economy.

You will need to make sure you have the Nissan towing light harness installed. Trailer harness either 7 pin or 4 pin plugged in to the plug on the left rear frame under the truck. In the right kick panel some Nissan relays and jumper wiring harness to protect your pathfinders wiring harness. A good hitch & Pin in your receiver and 2,300 pounds won’t be a problem at all to tow. Gas mileage suffers when towing but gas mileage in the boat out on the water is even worse. But hey it is recrecreation right! Make sure your truck and boat keys have floats. On different rings.

the pathfinder will tow that just fine. anything up to about 5000 lbs would be no problem.

for towing it is weight of car/suv what it is your towing .boat and trailer and anything else that will be on the boat in your case so its the car .boat. trailer .engine .any other weight totals ?if you do get this check into extra transmission cooler nissan's cooler for transmissions are way to small for their auto's

The Pathfinder is not the most fuel efficient vehicle on the market today, but if it can tow the load you want to tow, I suppose it's adequate.
