yep 2005 Nissan Pathfinders are great first high school cars and at only $16.000 you have been real lucky considering the state the economy is in! Go for it and be safe out there! Lol reminds me of my first high school car.

It's a wonderful vehicle but as a first car it's kind of large, you could probably even find like an 03 murano for about that price which is in my opinion even nicer. Or even taken a look at the Xterra

You may be better served with a larger truck than a mustang if you carry other people and gear around. Please be careful there are plenty of young people killed each year. Nissan motors are very reliable and produce plenty of power that truck is not a drag racer. 4.0 liters at 265 hp it can rocket down the road at 117 miles an hour. And remember Trucks do not handle like lower slung cars they can roll over always wear seat belts.
