im a guy and im 15 and im getting a car in a couple weeks and i think i want this truck. my parents have given me the price range of $16000 and i am very thankful because i have fun the truck. but is this truck reliable? my parents will be paying for gas and insurance and matienece. is the stock sound system pretty good ive heard that it doesnt have that much bass. and is it good in accelerating? I was thinking about an 04 pathfinder platinum edition because that was a few thousand cheaper and it still looked alright and i was debating between an 06 ford mustang gt auto. please give me some advice!
yep 2005 Nissan Pathfinders are great first high school cars and at only $16.000 you have been real lucky considering the state the economy is in! Go for it and be safe out there! Lol reminds me of my first high school car.

You may be better served with a larger truck than a mustang if you carry other people and gear around. Please be careful there are plenty of young people killed each year. Nissan motors are very reliable and produce plenty of power that truck is not a drag racer. 4.0 liters at 265 hp it can rocket down the road at 117 miles an hour. And remember Trucks do not handle like lower slung cars they can roll over always wear seat belts.

It’s a wonderful vehicle but as a first car it’s kind of large, you could probably even find like an 03 murano for about that price which is in my opinion even nicer. Or even taken a look at the Xterra
