My 2005 Nissan Pathfinder starts to shake whenever it is idling or when I pull up to stop at a red light. Does anyone know whats causing it, and if so, how much would it cost to fix it if its fixable. I have always change the oil on regular bases. I use synthetic oil and 91 or above octane gas.
Thank you
The fuel filter is a possibility, or there could be water in your fuel (bad gas), or you may possibly have a vaccuum line loose from the fuel injection/idling module.
It sounds like your engine isn’t getting enough gas. It could be caused by a dirty fuel filter or maybe a fuel bump. If it is a fuel filter then the part shouldn’t cost more than $15. If it is the fuel bump then it will be alot more $. I would definitely try the fuel filter first. You might want to try a bottle of fuel filter cleaner that you pour into your gas tank. If that helps then it is definitely your fuel filter. Hope this helps.
