nissan 2001 pathfinder what kind of motor oil should i use?

The 2001 Pathfinder recommends 5W-30 for all climates. 10W-30 or 10W-40 may also be used in above 0F temperatures. I’d recommend a conventional 5W-30 such as Pennzoil or Valvoline changed at 3,000-5,000 mile intervals depending on what type of driving you do. For severe service, stick with 3,000. For highway driving, change it every 5,000 miles. Good luck! :)

    What ever the manual recommends..

If no manual…I would use Kendall or Valvoline 10w 40, and a Fram or Purolator oil filter….
