Could have simply blown the fuse inside the radio I had the same problem a couple of year ago and run my self ragged trying to figure it out the whole time it was just a damn fuse.

well if its straight wired to the battery you might wanta make sure that wire got hooked back up… if not.. check the wire to your radio that has the inline fuse.. may have gotten a power surge when chaning it out and blew that fuse… if that is not the problem, check your actual fuse box… other than that i havnt a clue

It may be the security device on your radio. Does it ask you for a code? Look at the radio manual for a card that has the code for your radio.
Just be careful if you punch in the wrong code more than 3 or so times you will be locked out of the radio and have to go to the agent to have it unlocked.

probably the fuse for the radio is not good anymore u just need to replace it. the fuse box should be somewhere in the interior of the car under the dash or on the sides. the box will have all the fuses and it should say what the fuses are for. look for the one that is for the radio. check it and if u see something unusual just replace it.

If the fuse is OK and the radio is not coded, try to disconnect the battery again (turn off the radio before) and wait for a few minutes then reconnect. May be it just needs to be reset.

after changing the battery, usually you need to reset the radio system with the radio code which you can found from the owner’s manual or at the back of the radio. reset the system with the code then your CD player should be fine.
