		<description>The 2001 pathfinder is equipped with a VQ35DE engine.
The item you are refering to is called an oil cooler. remove oil filter
and you will notice two hoses that attach to the round thing. These are coolant hoses. The pipe the oil filter screws onto has a captive nut up against the cooler(round thing) unscrew this to remove the cooler. (after draining coolant and remove the hoses)
replace the o-rings and reinstall.
Note if you have hose pinching pliers you can pinch off the hoses and draining coolant will not be necessary. silicone grease or petrolium jelly will hold the o-rings in place during reinstalation.
